Aurora,Texas UFO Crash – 1987

This is a well known event in ufo circles and is one of the strangest reported cases over the years. Reports of a strange airship appearing over the little town of Aurora , Texas. This strange craft was then reported to have crashed , bitting a windmill and then exploding. Odd material with hieroglyphic’s was said to be recovered from the crash site. Also reports was that ‘alien lifeforms’ were recovered from the crash site. Local’s were said to have taken these lifeforms and buried them in a local cemetary. Many UFO researchers over the years have looked into this case and attempted to gather information and evidence or supporting documents. Much of this research has leaned to the fact that this case was indeed a hoax , even though some witnesses supplied testimony as to the story being true in the late 1960’s and 70’s. But most still consider this to be a well structured hoax made up to drum up interest in a town on a downfall. Some researchers still attempt to continue investigating this case and have even attempted to have the grave where the alien body was said to be buried exhumed although to this day all request have been denied.

Tunguska , Siberia UFO Crash – 1908

On June 30, 1908 a large explosion occurred near the lower Tunguska River in Siberia. This was such a massive explosion that the damage was seen as far away as 400 miles and the event was heard at even further distances. Lights in the sky could be seen for several nights from all around the area and many assumed that a large meteorite had crash landed in the remote area of siberia. This area was so remote that it was not investigated until 1972 when an expedition was mounted. The expedition members were puzzled as they could not locate any bits of meteorite , which had to be of a massive size to cause such a large explosion. There were also very odd reports of the trees in the area , the trees fallen in an outward motion and yet in the center of the crash area the trees were still standing although missing all the bark and branches. Many scientist speculated that the photo’s of the crash site seemed extremely similar to that of a nuclear explosion site. But nuclear weapons were not possessed by any nation in this time period. This lead to many theories which stated that the crash was that of a nuclear powered UFO. This theory has been given some relevance by witness testimony saying they seen an oval-shaped object moving across the sky in the area of the crash site. This is still one of the most mysterious UFO events in history and although many dismiss it as simply a meteorite crash , the alien craft theory still holds just as firm and is yet to lose its credibility.

Phoenix ‘UFO’ Lights Event – 1997

This event sometimes referred to as ‘ligts over phoenix’ occured on march 13, 1997. Many reports were filled from people across an area of approx 300 miles including Phoenix , Nevada, and Tucson. These reports described two distinct events, one being a triangular formation of lights which passed over the state and secondly a stationary bank of lights seen in the phoenix area. Various reports from witnesses stated they saw a carpenter’s square shaped UFO lined with lights passing silently in the skies above. Reports of these incidents were from many sources including police officers and even one from the state govenor at the time. There were many photographs and video’s taken of the stationary bank of lights reported , these lights were said to have appeared and then blinked out one by one. The US Air Force made an official statement which stated that the group of lights seen hovering over phoenix that night were in fact flares dropped by A-10 Warthog aircraft during a training exercise. With the vast amount of witness testimony and alarming similarities between these reports this event has turned this into one of the most interesting in UFO history. Researchers are investigating all aspects of this case and hope to have more answers then questions within the near future.
