The footage was taken by John Young, of Sprowston, who spotted the light on Wednesday, August 5.

The 43-year-old woke at about 3.30am, glanced out of the window and saw the bright light.

News of the sighting comes after dozens of reports of mysterious bright orange lights seen in the skies above Norfolk.

Witnesses have reported seeing the spectacle at locations including Norwich, Dereham, Downham Market, Holkham and Caister recent days.

And last week, a helicopter pilot reported seeing a strange orange light in the sky over Norwich.

Mr Young, who lives in Plaford Road, said: ?I glanced out of my bedroom window to see a bright light in the sky, much like a star except slightly larger in appearance and considerably brighter.

?It didn’t move but when I played it back on my computer I was surprised to see the object was a perfect sphere with a ‘hole’ in the middle. You can even see it appears to rotate clockwise for maybe 20 seconds then anti-clockwise for the next and so forth.

?I’m perplexed as to what I saw. Maybe there’s a simple explanation but I haven’t a clue what it was.?

Meanwhile, there have been a number of reports of strange orange lights over the city.

Many have put the lights down to Chinese lanterns but others have thought otherwise.

Helicopter pilot Andrew Goodchild was left baffled by an ?unidentified orange light? he spotted just before 10pm on August 2.

The 42-year-old, who has flown since 1991, said at first he thought it was a low-flying helicopter but then realised that the light was ?unusual?.

The light was also seen by Malcolm Vicary, of Old Catton, at 9.40pm on the same night. He said: ?At first I thought it was a hot air balloon because of the orange glow.

?It suddenly changed direction for a short distance then resumed its original course. The orange glow then went out. It then started to descend quite fast in the direction of St Faith’s, very close to Norwich airport. I’m sure it wasn’t an aircraft because there were no navigation lights or sound.?

The July 17, 2009, sighting has multiple witnesses and the event was videotaped. The object had three points of light. Two of the lights were white, and a third light was blue.

The object hovered in the sky, but tilted back and forth, throughout the multi-hour sighting.

The object returned to that same location again on July 25, 2009, and was also videotaped by the witnesses.

In his investigation, Beall reviewed video taken from other U.S. locations as well as from several different countries that match the video shot in Florida.

FL, July 17, 2009 – It was a 3 pointed triangle with 3 lights on each corner and a 4th light was on the bottom. General Shape – upside down pyramid but with only 3 sides.

At 11:42 pm 7/17/2009, my neighbor knocked on my door. It was unusual because it was really late so I thought it was an emergency.

She said “sorry to bother you so late, but my husband is in the back yard looking at some weird lights in the sky and thought you might want to see them too.” I then said “ok, I’m out back right now.”

I then opened up my sliding glass door to go to the lanai and I looked up in the eastern sky at about 45 degrees, or the 1 o’clock position, and saw a triangular object in the sky moving from left to right and back left and up and down and it surely didn’t look like anything I’ve ever seen in my life.

I then ran back into the house to wake up my wife, who is the biggest ufo skeptic that I know, and said “Wake up! Wake up! You’ve got to come outside and see this thing!!” She said “No, I’ve to go to sleep, I have to work in the morning!” I preceded to say “You have to see this thing in the sky, just trust me, you have to come out and see this!” I then looked for our camera, a casio exilim 10.1 mega pixel camera, and went back outside with my dog and started recording footage of this thing in the sky.

I walked over to my neighbors house and we, three of us, watched this thing for 2 and a half hours. My neighbor had binoculars and a telescope, but it was easier to use the binoculars to see the silohuette of this object. It was moving in different patterns, but generally stayed in the eastern sky moving from left to right in a pendulum type pattern, but it would also moved westward a little bit, but still remained at the 1 o’clock to 1:30 position in the sky.

If you held a dime towards the sky, the size was a little smaller than the dime. It seemed to be about 1000-3000 feet in the sky hovering over I-75 near SR 54. The feelings I felt was “what the heck is that?” We sat on some chairs and watched this thing for a couple hours. I started to feel really sleepy so I went back inside the house to go to sleep, but I kept checking out my window because I wanted to see where this thing will go once it’s done hovering over Wesley Chapel, FL.

I found my other battery that was fully charged so I went back outside for a few more minutes and fimed one more video. I don’t know what we saw, but it wasn’t a plane. Matter of fact, we saw 2 planes fly by that night, one was flying from East to Southwest. We heard the sounds of the engines as it came closer to us and as it flew past us. The sounds were evident even when the plane seemed to be further to us than the triangular object in the sky. The next plane fly past us from South to North and you could also hear it as it flew past us. But this object made no sounds at all. The night sky was very clear and there was no or very little wind that night.

Two visitors from the Midwest claim they saw an unidentified flying object over the ocean July 28 at Oak Island.

The object had lights on it and appeared to change course several times, like a small plane struggling to stay airborn, before it hit the water.

It was such a sight that emergency rescue and search crews in the area sprung into action and began searching the area using sophisticated sonars and underwater cameras to try and figure out what the object was. Even helicopters from the Canadian Forces Base (CFB) in nearby Trenton took part. On Tuesday at 1:30pm, they discovered an object about 9 meters (30 feet) below the surface, but because of currents and nearby rapids, sending divers down would be extremely dangerous since they would be instantly swept away by the currents.

The mystery? Authorities and residents have no idea what this object laying at the bottom of the river is. There are no planes missing from the area, no other aircraft like helicopters, etc. are missing. There is no derbis, no oil slick and even space agencies that were contacted said nothing disappeared from orbit.

On Tuesday afternoon, Ottawa police Const. Alain Boucher said of the object they found on the riverbed:

?The size and the shape doesn?t lead us to believe it?s any piece of an airplane or fuselage or anything like that. It could be a rock, it could be a bunch of logs stuck together, it?s hard to say. No one has come forward with any kind of videos or anything like that at this time. None of the people actually reported seeing a plane go down at the same time.?

But the fact still remains – something fell into the Ottawa River Monday night that prompted a massive co-ordinated search by local authorities and the Canadian Military. They found an object below the surface and don?t know exactly what it is.

It truly is a UFO mystery at this point.

Chris Middleton, of Welwyn, took the picture on a visit to the Jacobean house and garden, the home of the 7th Marquess of Salisbury.

“It made no noise and I didn’t see it until I put the image on my computer,” he said. “If you sharpen the image and zoom right in you can see it~s no normal aircraft and you can see a red heat source behind it.

“I think it’s impossible for there not to be something like that out there – the universe is so vast. He had the intriguing image examined by professional photographers – and none of them could explain it.”

Richard Wiseman, psychology professor at the University of Hertfordshire, has an international reputation for research into the paranormal.

Prof Wiseman said: “It’s very difficult to tell what it is because it is tricky to know how far the object is from the camera. I guess that it could be a bird or a paraglider in the distance, or a small piece of dust or debris very close to the lens.

“Either way, I don’t think Hatfield House should be bracing themselves for a close encounter of the third kind quite yet.”

Professional wedding photographer Helen Joynson captured these remarkable images while staying at her parents? house at Fitz, near Shrewsbury.

The 40-year-old said she had not even realised there had been anything unusual in the sky until noticing up to three UFOs when processing her digital photographs on a computer.

Mrs Joynson said the snaps were taken on a pleasant summer?s evening on July 12 at about 10.30pm.

She said: ?My mother and I had just been reviewing the pictures which I had taken over our family weekend away before going to bed, as we did so we noticed a huge cloud in the sky at the end of the garden.

?It was vast and reflected the town lights of Shrewsbury on its base. As I had the camera in my hand, I stepped into the garden and took a few shots.

The UFOs were not seen by either of us at the time. It was only on looking at the pictures on my computer that I first noticed them.?

Mrs Joynson, who lives in Chester, said she had no explanation for what the UFOs could be.

She said: ?I do believe that there is very possibly other life forms in the universe which we do not know of and there is a possibility that they are more advanced than us and that they may have craft which can observe us.

?I have no explanation at all. I thought at first that maybe it was a star and that I had created a blur by small, hand-held camera movement.

?However, the object clearly changes position and shape and in the last picture it has entirely disappeared thus ruling out a star.?

Here is some of the most recent footage that was filmed by a local to the area possibly out of there livingroom window. This UFO was also reported by some other locals aswell. Some ufo experts have reviewed the footage and are not 100% convinced that it is an alien craft. UFO expert Michael Cohen reviewed the film and said he was not quite convinced and had this comment -
“My research suggest that real extraterrestrial craft do not use flashing lights. This is probably a kite fitted with lighting but we cannot be certain”.

Whether this footage shows an alien craft or not is yet unknown but with all the sightings and reports coming from the area there sure seems to be something going on.
